About the Role:

The Lead Standards Development Manager at BSI plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of standards.

As the expert in standardization, you will be responsible for providing guidance and advice to chairs, participants, and stakeholders during meetings and beyond.

Proactively managing committees of experts to identify needs for and the development of new standards is a key responsibility.

You will be instrumental in planning the future development of your committees and committee structures to address existing and emerging areas of standardization.

Building inclusive, diverse, and balanced committees that reflect the communities you serve is a key aspect of this role.

You will also take an active role in international and European standardization to ensure UK objectives are met.

Collaborating with executives and stakeholders to develop long-term strategic goals for expanding standards adoption is a critical part of this position.

In this role, you will develop links with relevant government departments and industry bodies to build networks, raise awareness of standards, and identify areas for future work.

Responsibilities:
