Electrical Project Manager

Are you a seasoned project manager looking for a new challenge in the Utilities Sector? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join our team, overseeing critical electrical projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from site acceptance to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Adhere to company standards, safety procedures, and policies while providing a competent service to clients.
  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are met, working towards section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Achieve targets and meet the company's delivery timescales.
  • Engage in client-facing interactions, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Manage budgets effectively and report on financial performance.
  • Oversee the management of subcontractors and directly supervise reports such as Site Managers and Supervisors.
  • Report directly to the commercial team and regional managers.
Requirements:
  • End-to-end project management experience, from site acceptance through to completion.
  • A background as a Project Manager within the power distribution, DNO, HV (11kV, 33kV), utilities, or electrical industries.
  • Proficiency in LV and HV systems, with experience up to 11kV or 33kV (Connections).
  • A strong understanding of street works and traffic management.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Qualifications such as SMSTS or Prince2/APM.
  • First Aid certification.
