About the Role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join our team at 4Site Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency specializing in construction and engineering, we have a strong partnership with a leading M&E Contractor who is looking for a skilled professional to manage their projects.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of one of the secured custodial projects, ensuring all Mechanical & Electrical aspects are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget. You will oversee project planning, execution, and completion while managing all stakeholders involved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of M&E projects, from inception to completion
  • Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring smooth coordination between mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project requirements are met
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and quality control procedures
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions where necessary
  • Manage procurement processes for materials and subcontractors
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to senior management
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, ideally with experience in custodial or similar large-scale projects
  • Previous experience working for an M&E Contractor or Main Contractor in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, with the ability to understand both mechanical and electrical installations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK driving license
What We Offer

Candidates should ideally live locally to the project. The salary will be between £80,000 - £100,000, dependent on experience, with an attractive package included.
