This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to grow and develop accounts by delivering training to retail accounts, showrooms and supporting the Retail Business Manager with installations and point of sale.

This position is based in the Retail Field Sales Team and reports directly to the Retail Sales Manager. As a Retail Sales Ambassador, you will support the Retail Business Manager in agreed Sales areas and growth in selected non-marketed accounts, providing added value to the customer through tangible activity in retail stores.

Located in the North West region, this role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support installation of Showrooms & Points of Sales providing hands-on assistance with merchandising, training, pre-launch events, samples and post installations.
  • Ongoing showrooms support – visual merchandising, sample replenishment, care and maintenance of Karndean products, Brand building with retailers to help develop our brand, support for exhibitions.
  • Delivering hands-on training to help build knowledge, development and improvement and support marketing of all products and ranges.
  • Strengthen the Retail Partnership.
  • Identify non-marketed accounts by the Retail Business Manager to help grow the business by updating collateral, product training, demonstrations and Points of Sale, regular visits and support, hands-on demonstrations, product training and support.
Requirements:
  • Comfortable with using technology in your day-to-day role to deliver effective representation and management producing both written and online reports.
  • Able to produce written reports on an ad hoc basis.
  • Motivated and self-motivated being able to work within a team.
  • Set standards to deliver beyond the company expectations.
  • Able to solve problems on own initiative while balancing this with scope of role and when to consult with management & peers for input.
  • Self-manage own time and resources to establish and maintain collateral inventory to include accurate recording of collateral in CRM.
  • Excellent time management skills, mentor junior colleagues.
  • Brand ambassador exhibiting the brand values in all interactions with the retailer projecting professionalism in their appearance and demeanor.
  • Full driving license.
  • Able to stay away from home when required.
