About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for creating a world-class workplace experience for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance the workplace environment and employee experience.
  • Lead the development of future workplace strategies, aligning with business needs and industry trends.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, collaborating with HR and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to operational and capital budgeting, monitoring spend and financial forecasting.
  • Manage the promotion of our company culture, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
  • Escalate issues to the UK Facilities Manager, providing written and proven track records of resolution.
  • Assist in the completion of the office Business Continuity plan.
  • Analyze and monitor occupation levels, managing relocation changes and liaising with teams and HR.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, supporting the procurement process.
  • Support the Senior Facilities Assistant in assessing and resolving issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in facilities management, with a focus on hospitality and stakeholder experience.
  • Experience in creating inclusive workplace environments.
  • Proven knowledge of compliance related to industry codes, building, Health & Safety, security, and other relevant topics.
  • Strong relationships with vendors, improving their performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Creative thinker, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Ability to work with varied workloads and hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent understanding of budget formats and reports.
  • Team player, with the ability to function independently and proactively.
