Dispensary Pharmacy Support Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Dispensary Assistant to join our team at Gordons Chemists. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions and delivering professional services.
- Provide support with dispensary-related tasks, including orders, date checks, and receiving prescriptions.
- Offer knowledge and advice on product ranges to customers.
- Deliver and collect prescriptions as required.
- Participate in out-of-hours pharmacy rota cover and stock maintenance.
- Maintain professional standards of dress and grooming.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
- Have an interest in pharmacy and dispensing.
- Be hardworking and enthusiastic with exceptional communication skills.
- Be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
- Have previous experience of using computer systems and be flexible to work in local Gordons Chemist branches.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous relevant dispensary experience.
- Good understanding of professional services.
- NPA Interact qualification or equivalent recognized qualification, or be willing to complete this qualification.
- Full UK driving license or access to a car.
Location: Gordons Chemists, Unit 2, 57 Main Street, BT49 0EP
Duration: Full-time and permanent, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday as per shop rota.
