About the Role

The Operational Theatre Specialist is a critical member of our clinical team, responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced peri-operative environment.

This role requires close collaboration with all disciplines to ensure seamless patient care and adherence to high standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied caseload utilizing state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities.
  • Delivering evidence-based care that meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Collaborating with the wider hospital team to ensure continuity of patient care.
Person Specification
  • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical specialties within the operating department.
  • Experience in supervising students, support staff, and others.
Language Skills
  • Proficiency in Welsh language at Level 1.
Estimated Salary Range: £38,890 - £46,305 per annum
