About the Role

As a key member of the ASOS team, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Director to lead our efforts in reducing our environmental impact. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization and play a pivotal role in shaping our sustainability strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies to reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into all aspects of our business, from product design to supply chain management.
  • Manage and develop programs aimed at reducing waste, improving resource efficiency, and promoting sustainable practices throughout our operations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive collaboration and innovation in sustainability.
  • Monitor and report on progress against sustainability goals, providing regular updates to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives, resulting in significant reductions in environmental impact.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be entitled to a range of benefits, including:
