Job Responsibilities

The Environmental Director will be responsible for shaping projects towards best practices, aligning with our environmental strategy and goals. This includes:

  • Auditing: Plan and conduct site inspections and audits, following up on issues.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Training: Prepare and deliver environmental training and briefings.
  • Data Collection: Collect and analyse environmental data for reporting and benchmarking.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in an Environment-related subject and professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).
  • Strong understanding of the environmental/sustainability agenda.
  • Experience in environmental data collection and KPI management.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and auditing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Full driving license and own vehicle.
