Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in the fruit ripening and processing sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing critical support and technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of heavy commercial refrigeration equipment and plant. This includes chilled water systems, air-conditioning equipment, and other related systems.

You will work closely with clients to resolve technical issues, improve system performance, and conduct site audits. Delivering toolbox talks and providing training to apprentices are also key aspects of this role. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and adherence to company policy is essential for this position. We are seeking a skilled engineer with relevant industry experience and qualifications. Strong planning and organisational skills, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, are essential for this role. A customer-centric mindset, honesty, and trustworthiness are paramount. In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive salary of up to £43,600 (including bonus), 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays, a company van, and a comprehensive benefits package.
