Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide mobile support for Radar systems and associated equipment in the UK and overseas. As a key member of our Radar Support team, you will work on Type 45 Destroyers, Type 23 Frigates, Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers, and future platforms, as well as international projects and land-based Radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support for Radar systems and equipment.
  • Answering technical questions and queries from internal and external customers.
  • Raising risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices.
  • Working collaboratively with the Field Operations Team Leader and other functions.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhering to company policies and legislation.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • HNC in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Radar systems and equipment.
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
  • Resilience to withstand pressured situations.
