Job Description

We are seeking an Opiate Recovery Worker to join our team at Developing Health and Independence (DHI). As an Opiate Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients in their recovery journey.

The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals struggling with opiate addiction and a strong understanding of the issues surrounding substance misuse. You will be responsible for delivering tailored support and guidance to clients, helping them to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality support and guidance to clients with opiate addiction
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans
  • Provide education and awareness-raising sessions on opiate addiction and recovery
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive support

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with opiate addiction
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse and recovery issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. social work, counseling)

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £25,119 - £29,777 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week, full-time contract
  • Fixed-term contract until 30 June 2025
  • Paid leave and pension scheme
