SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN/SEMH teacher assistant to join our team at a vibrant school in the heart of Gloucester.
This is a full-time role requiring a candidate with patience, compassion, and kindness. The successful applicant will have experience in behavioural management and be able to liaise with teachers and parents.
- The ideal candidate will have a nurturing and kind mindset, flexibility, and previous experience working with SEN/SEMH students.
- Able to create a safe environment for a happy education, valuing and respecting pupils to reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone who can provide joy and create a positive atmosphere in the classroom. The successful applicant must be capable of:
- Liaising with teachers and parents to ensure strong partnerships between the community and the school.
- Adapting to changing situations and being proactive in managing behaviour.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
