Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant position, working 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will support identified students in 1:1, group, or whole-class situations, working closely with teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Support students in 1:1, group, or whole-class situations
  • Work with teachers to identify and meet students' learning needs
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions
  • Attend to students' personal needs when required
  • Support behaviour management and use strategies in line with academy policy
  • Undertake learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children or teenagers
What We Offer:

The rates of pay for this position will be between £90 to £100 a day, depending on qualifications and experience. Our school is an 'Outstanding' Secondary school and sixth form, offering opportunities for career progression and professional development.
