Manufacturing Electrician

We are looking for a highly skilled Production Electrician to join our team at Selwood Limited's Pump Sales and Manufacturing site in Chandlers Ford. As a key member of our Production Team, you will be responsible for building and testing pump assemblies, carrying out electrical duties, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
This role offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with enhanced overtime pay, medicash scheme, pension scheme, 24 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, increasing annual leave entitlement with long service, 3x annual salary life insurance, support for development and training, employee assistance programme, employee discount scheme, and employee referral scheme.
Main Responsibilities:
- Building Chassis Assemblies: You will build chassis assemblies from designated kits to defined build numbers and specifications, ensuring costs, timescales, and quality levels are met.
- Fitting Pump End and Engine or Motor: You will fit the pump end and engine or motor to the chassis, fitting coupling and lining up the assembly using shims if necessary to ensure correct level.
- Electrical Wiring: You will carry out electrical wiring to various pump assemblies as required, including connection of engine looms, control panels, and safety devices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential Qualifications: IEE 18th Edition Qualification, ECS Gold card or relevant qualifications in electrical installations to obtain an ECS Gold card.
- Able to Work with Others: You must be able to work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals.
