About The Role This role will be based at our Pump Sales and Manufacturing site in Chandlers Ford.
To complement our teams and to continually drive quality through the manufacturing process we are inviting applications for the position of Production Electrician, to be based at our Pump Sales and Manufacturing site in Chandlers Ford.
As Production Electrician you'll be responsible for building and testing pump assemblies and will carry out electrical duties in line with our Production Programme.
Main Responsibilities: Activities for the Production Electrician will be wide ranging and varied.
Day to day responsibilities include: Building Chassis Assemblies from designated kits to defined build numbers and specifications, being mindful of costs, timescales and Quality levels.
Specific tasks include: * Fitting Pump End and Engine or Motor to Chassis, fitting coupling and lining up assembly using shims, if necessary to ensure correct level.
* Fitting Fuel Lines, Battery Assembly, Half Guards, Lifting Frame and other ancillary items as necessary.
* Filling Engine to correct grade and quantity of Oil, Antifreeze etc.
in line with Specification.
* Ensure that all nuts, bolts etc.
