Job Title: Contracts Manager

CFA Institute is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our Source to Pay (S2P) team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the contracting process globally, including contract preparation, legal review, and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the outsourced contract management team and serve as the primary administrator for the company's contract management system.
  • Draft and edit various types of legal agreements while liaising with internal clients, sources, and attorneys regarding contracts.
  • Monitor contract performance and deliver modifications and close-out procedures at termination.
  • Create policies and procedures for applications and users.
  • Conduct training on contracting principles, system usage, and creating and reading/editing contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Global experience working in a contract management, legal, or procurement role.
  • Fluency in English is required, and additional languages, specifically Mandarin, are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to draft, edit, and analyze contractual agreements and summarize concisely.
  • In-depth knowledge of contracting principles, commercial contract language, and legal terms and conditions required.
  • Must be detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, able to work under pressure, and flexible in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations.
