Job Title: Global Contract Manager

Job Summary:

The CFA Institute is seeking a highly skilled Global Contract Manager to join our Source to Pay (S2P) team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the contracting process globally, including contract preparation and legal review, leading the outsourced contract manager team, contract negotiation, and serving as the primary administrator for the company's contract management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point person in S2P for all 3rd Party Vendor Contract requests.
  • Draft, edit, and negotiate contracts to achieve the most favorable outcomes for the organization.
  • Lead the third-party outsourced contract management team, providing oversight and responsibility for monitoring contract performance and delivering modifications and close-out procedures at termination.
  • Create policies and procedures for applications and users.
  • Conduct training on contracting principles, system usage, and creating and reading/editing contracts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Global experience working in a contract management, legal, or procurement role.
  • Fluency in English is required, and additional languages, specifically Mandarin, are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to draft, edit, and analyze contractual agreements and summarize concisely.
  • In-depth knowledge of contracting principles, commercial contract language, and legal terms and conditions required.
  • Must be detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, able to work under pressure, and flexible in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations.
  • Very high level of organizational and time management skills required.
