Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our server and storage infrastructure in our Leeds office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement server and storage infrastructure, maintaining accurate documentation.
  2. Plan and execute upgrades, updates, and migrations of server and storage infrastructure as needed.
  3. Ensure system configuration and data are backed up in accordance with our backup policy.
  4. Adhere to ITIL and Prince2 processes, as well as ISO operating procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Proficiency in implementing and administering server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows 2008/2012.
  2. Experience working in an ITIL environment and managing successful projects.
  3. Knowledge of VMware environments (vSphere 5.x, vCentre) and enterprise monitoring solutions.
  4. Experience with HP servers/blades and Hitachi (HUS) storage hardware or similar technology from other vendors.
