Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Community Healthcare Support Worker to work closely with our District Nursing Team, providing high-quality care and support to patients in their communities. As a District Nursing Team Support Worker, you will be responsible for carrying out clinical duties, including venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, and wound dressing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out clinical tasks as directed by the District Nurse Team Leader or Community Staff Nurse.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and multi-agency workers to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Meet with the District Nurse Team Leader or Community Staff Nurse to discuss patient care and collect allocated worklists.
  • Demonstrate, teach, and supervise simple procedures to patients and carers, with approval from the District Nurse Team Leader or Community Staff Nurse.
Requirements
  • GCSE grade A – C in English or Maths.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, professional care to all patients.
