At Advanced Accelerator Applications (Italy), we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical and Development Strategist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are guided by our purpose: to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people's lives. As a key member of our development team, you will lead the strategic and operational planning and management of assigned clinical programs from an end-to-end clinical operations perspective.
Your Responsibilities:- Serve as the main point of contact for Clinical Development associates regarding knowledge of best practices, lessons learned, and issue escalation.
- Partner with the Clinical Development Head on various internal and external interactions and partner management as appropriate across all relevant line functions.
- Build a high-performing culture within programs and departments to foster empowerment and excellence in a matrix environment.
- Assess organizational needs to improve medical/scientific, operational, and budget management capabilities in assigned franchises, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a strong portfolio view to identify innovative resourcing methodologies for staffing programs across all clinical functions.
- Lead job profile optimization, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and role onboarding activities for clinical development associates.
- An advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare is required.
- 7 years of experience in clinical research or drug development spanning clinical activities in Phases I-IV.
- 3-5 years of experience in conducting clinical trials – planning, implementing, reporting, and publishing.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong scientific partnerships with collaborators.
- Proficient English language skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is €120,000 - €180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
