Job Overview

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity as a DUA Operations Specialist in the Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) team at Everest, based in London.

Responsibilities
  • Support the post-bind functionality of business processes and procedures for Delegated Authority facilities across our platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory minimum standards.
  • Process LBS bordereaux into DA-SATS promptly and efficiently, handling any queries that arise.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all new and renewing contracts are mapped within 90 days of inception, according to BPO provider guidelines.
  • Chase outstanding Risks Written and Premium (where relevant) Bordereaux not received from brokers, Coverholders, and within Porta.
  • Assist the EGM Credit Control Manager in day-to-day administration of Credit Control analysis and tasks related to Coverholder/MGAs, Consortia, and Lineslips.
  • Provide monthly committee reporting and generate reports as needed based on Bordereaux management.
  • Be the primary contact point for BPO provider queries emanating from bordereaux processing, interacting with business stakeholders and brokers.
Requirements
  • Experience in an underwriting assistant/underwriting operations/technician role in the insurance industry is required.
  • DUA experience is highly desirable but not essential.
  • A willingness to work towards insurance professional qualifications is desired.
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills, Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS), problem-solving ability, and numeracy are must-haves.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
  • Languages: English and Spanish (verbal and written).

Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
