**Job Summary:**

Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is seeking an Underwriting Authority Specialist to support the management and oversight of the Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) portfolio. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the setup, ongoing operation, and compliance of all DUAs with relevant regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct due diligence to ensure delegated authority contracts align with risk appetite standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in the review of Binding Authority contracts on behalf of Lloyd's Coverholder and liaise with brokers as necessary.
  • Support the DUA Manager in managing new coverholder applications to Lloyd's, including due diligence and process oversight.
  • Aid in the management of bordereaux processing for timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist with coverholder audits, including scheduling annual audits, processing audit reports, and managing audit recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve day-to-day queries.
  • Compile relevant Management Information for internal meetings and assist in coordinating data for regulatory returns.
  • Contribute to periodic reviews of Delegated Authority processes, procedures, and controls to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

**Requirements:**

  • Extensive experience managing Lloyd's coverholder relationships, including relevant processes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Lloyd's DA systems such as Atlas, DCOM, DAM, and Wordings Repository.
  • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, offering technical expertise and guidance on DUA business and processes.
  • Solid understanding of Coverholder and Bordereaux systems.
