We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect or Assistant Landscape Architect to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. As a key member of our Landscape Architecture team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our communities through innovative landscape planning and design.

About the Role

As a Landscape Architect or Assistant Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for providing creative landscape planning and design input across a range of projects. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including landscape architects, engineers, and other multidisciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare landscape and townscape appraisals, and contribute to impact assessments.
  • Develop landscape conceptual, outline, and detailed designs, and contribute to environmental mitigation design proposals.
  • Conduct field and visual survey work for projects across the UK.
  • Input to or prepare landscape specifications and management plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree plus post-graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture or relevant subject, or a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Post-graduate work experience within a landscape architecture practice or working on landscape projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
  • Knowledge of current UK planning and environmental assessment legislation.
  • Ability to develop designs, write reports, and work with industry software including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) or similar software packages.
