Salary
The estimated salary for this role is approximately £83,000 per annum, based on Band 7/8a pay scales. This figure may vary depending on individual circumstances and qualifications.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Adult Locality Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessments and interventions for older people with complex health needs. Key duties include:
  • Providing neuropsychological assessments and developing evidence-based therapies for older adults.
  • Active contribution to Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) through case discussion and care planning.
  • Developing specialist expertise in areas such as EMDR, MBT, and Narrative Therapy.
  • Contributing to audit, research, and development work within the team.
  • Providing clinical supervision and teaching opportunities to trainees and other staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • BSc/BA Honours degree in Psychology at 2:1 or above.
  • Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the BPS.
  • Eligibility for registration as a Chartered Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) with the BPS.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
