About the Role

We are partnering with our long-standing client to recruit a Clerk of Works. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established consultancy with a continuous project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visiting client sites to inspect work and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Analysing project drawings and details to ensure works are completed to specification.
  • Writing reports based on inspections and analysis, and reporting back to the team on project compliance.
  • Liaising with contractors, site management, and contracts management to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Working to KPIs in relation to dictations and photographs following completion of a site inspection.

Requirements

  • Proven extensive experience of working within a construction environment and in a Clerk or Works or similar role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate a wide understanding of the building industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods, and legal requirements.
