Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading Compressed Air Supplier.

The successful candidate will work remotely, covering the East Midlands region, selling to key accounts within the compressed air and fluid power sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage key accounts and develop new business for compressed air-related equipment in various industries.
  2. Sell fluid power products such as valves, compressors, vacuum systems, pumps, power tools, motors, MRO, pneumatics, hydraulics, and similar mechanical engineering products.
  3. Maintain compressed air sales through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to achieve targets.
  4. Work closely with the Service Department to ensure excellent after-sales service.
  5. Liaise with various engineering departments.

  1. £35,000-£42,000 depending on experience

Requirements:

  1. Experience selling or servicing mechanical engineering equipment (valves, compressors, hydraulics, vacuum systems, pumps, power tools, motors, automation, product finishing, robotics, pneumatics, MRO, or similar).
  2. Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or Service Engineers looking to transition into sales are also encouraged to apply.
  3. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer.
  4. A technical qualification (Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree) is advantageous.
  5. Full clean driving license.
  6. Homebased with a willingness to travel and stay away when required.
