Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Electrical Infrastructure Manager to join our team at AWE Plc. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Safety Engineer with expertise in electrical systems to take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe design, installation, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure across our sites. This includes developing and implementing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including free onsite parking and opportunities for professional development.

About the Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols for electrical infrastructure projects
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor electrical system installations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electrical infrastructure projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, safety management, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to safety-related problems
