About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Needs Assessment and Support Specialist to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough needs assessments and providing expert advice on assistive technology and support strategies to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured meetings with individuals to identify suitable study and support strategies, including Non-Medical Helper (NMH) and travel support.
  • Evaluate the suitability of assistive technology and other aids for each individual and provide recommendations.
  • Produce formal written needs assessment reports in accordance with relevant guidance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Respond to post-assessment queries from customers or funding bodies within the required timeframe.
  • Conduct reviews of customer needs as requested.
Requirements
  • Exemplary communication skills and excellent report writing abilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of DSA funding guidance and current assistive technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve excellent results.
  • Reliable and dependable with sound organisational skills.
