About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to fill a temporary contract position at our Independent Specialist School in Lytham St Annes. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the development of our students.

Key Features:
  • Full-time temporary contract initially until February, with a potential extension on a long-term basis.
  • ASAP start date, ideally by January.
  • A competitive hourly rate of £35-40.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify students' communication needs, particularly related to social communication and pragmatic language skills.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to support students' sensory and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and care planning.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working with children with ASD and pragmatic language difficulties.
  • Familiarity with EHCPs and other relevant legislation.
