Pulse Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technician to perform PET-CT and nuclear medicine procedures in our London location.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:
This position requires a thorough understanding of imaging techniques, safety protocols, and patient management. Key responsibilities include:
* Performing PET-CT scans and other nuclear medicine imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians,
* Preparing patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure,
* Safely handling and administering radiopharmaceuticals, following all safety and regulatory guidelines,
* Maintaining accurate patient records, documenting procedures, and assisting in the preparation of diagnostic reports,
* Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field is required. Registration or classification through The Register of Clinical Technologists (the RCT) or the HCPC is also necessary. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in PET-CT and nuclear medicine imaging is preferred.
