People & Talent Business Partner - 12 months fixed term

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People & Talent Business Partner to join our team at Law Business Research. As a key member of our People & Talent team, you will play a critical role in supporting and driving global initiatives across our Events and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders across the business unit.
- Provide expert advice on a range of global HR issues, including talent management, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement.
- Support the HR team in delivering monthly reports, ensuring attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and pre-empt areas for improvement and provide solutions.
- Act as a visible partner to LBR's employees, providing platforms and encouraging upward communication on people-based issues and interests.
- Participate in delivering company-wide training and change management programs.
- Support the People & Talent Director in driving the delivery of key people projects, including career progression, diversity and inclusion, management capability, L&D, and organisational design.
- Manage multiple, global payroll processes.
- Be competent at managing conflicting priorities in terms of workload.
- CIPD L5 or equivalent relevant professional qualification is desirable.
- Strong generalist HR experience in a partnering role.
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office Tools, especially Excel.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Sound understanding of international employment law, with US labour law being desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under minimal supervision.
- Initiative, proactiveness, and a change enabler.
- Experience using ADP and DEEL is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using Workday is required, ideally with implementation experience.
- Ability to maintain a positive and healthy working environment.
