People & Talent Business Partner - 12 Month Fixed Term Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People & Talent Business Partner to join our team at Law Business Research. As a key member of our People & Talent team, you will play a critical role in supporting and driving global initiatives across our Events and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Strategic Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across your business unit, providing expert advice and guidance on global HR issues.
- HR Support and Guidance: Provide support to the HR Team by delivering monthly reports, ensuring attention to detail, and meeting static deadlines.
- Manager Development: Coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and pre-empt areas for improvement and provide solutions.
- Employee Engagement: Be a visible partner to LBR's employees, providing platforms and encouraging upward communication on people-based issues and interests.
- Training and Change Management: Actively participate in delivering company-wide training and change management programmes.
- Project Support: Support the People & Talent Director in driving the delivery of key people projects, including career progression, diversity & inclusion, management capability, L&D, and organisational design.
- Payroll Support: Support multiple, global, payroll processes.
- Workload Management: Be competent at managing conflicting priorities in terms of your workload.
- CIPD L5 or Equivalent: Hold a CIPD L5 qualification or equivalent relevant professional qualification.
- Generalist HR Experience: Possess strong generalist HR experience in a partnering role.
- HR Software and Tools: Be proficient in HR software and MS Office Tools, especially Excel.
- Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- International Employment Law: Have a sound understanding of international employment law, with US labour law being desirable.
- Initiative and Proactiveness: Demonstrate initiative, proactiveness, and a change enabler mindset.
- ADP and DEEL Experience: Experience using ADP and DEEL is desirable but not essential.
- Workday Experience: Experience using Workday, ideally with implementation experience.
- Positive Working Environment: Be able to maintain a positive and healthy working environment.
