Electronics Field Service Engineer

Are you a skilled professional with expertise in electronics, fault tracing, and hands-on support? Our client, a leader in innovative technology solutions, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer with electronics background to join their team based in the UK.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role within our client's Production team, assembling, servicing, and enhancing specialist equipment. This position includes international travel on occasions to provide on-site support, training, and commissioning at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the manufacture, repair, and fault tracing of electronic equipment, focusing on both analog and digital systems.
  • Provide on-site support, training, and technical assistance for customers internationally.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults to the component level, with knowledge of microcontroller programming.
  • Act as a product specialist, liaising with Sales, Design, and Production teams to improve product functionality and user experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for product improvements and changes.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in electronic fault-finding and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with microcontroller-based programming.
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach to problem-solving.
  • A full UK driving license and a valid passport.
