About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nursing Home Manager to join our team at one of our luxury boutique nursing homes in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that we provide high-quality care and services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing operations within the home to achieve or exceed goals while maintaining high-quality care standards.
  • Oversee the care staff and assume full management responsibility in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Train and supervise care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to conduct pre-admission assessments, maintain up-to-date care plans and daily records, and foster effective communication with residents' families and external organizations.
Requirements:
  • An active NMC nursing pin (RGN or RMN).
  • The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
  • The ability to identify referral pathways for safeguarding adult/abuse.
  • A good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and the staffing team.
  • The ability to promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
