Graduate Energy Consultant Opportunity

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a talented Graduate Energy Consultant to join our client's team in Dorset. This exciting role offers a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring graduate to kickstart their career within the built environment and find their own niche within the sustainability sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on sustainability trends, legislations, and best practices, with training provided in areas that require support.
  • Utilize software such as IES and OneClick to perform overheating strategies and Whole Life Carbon assessments.
  • Carry out SAP and SBEM assessments for commercial and non-domestic projects.
  • Prepare sustainability reports and communication materials, as well as liaise with clients to help reduce their carbon footprint by providing sustainable strategies.
Requirements:
  • An MSc in an Energy or Sustainability field.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for the built environment industry.
  • Knowledge of IES-VE software in regards to energy modeling.
  • Good understanding of Net-Zero Carbon and Life Cycle Assessments would be beneficial.
