Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Model Based Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Model Based Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for developing model representations of systems and platforms.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high technology products such as Tempest, collaborating with a community of engineers to understand the relationships between interfacing systems/platforms.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing strategies to use modelling to optimise verification, validation, demonstrations and trial activity
  • Undertaking model verification activity using real world data (in service and trials)
  • Identifying solutions and options that deliver at a platform (sometimes a multi-platform) level

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with equivalent experience
  • Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft and their systems operation and key performance parameters

Salary Range

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £47,683 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
