Job Purpose:
1st Step Solutions is seeking an exceptional Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a prestigious six-story building project in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the project team to ensure outstanding operational performance, managing in-house and subcontracted resources, and prioritizing customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing project activities to align with program, budget, safety, and quality objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the operational project team to ensure project activities align with program, budget, safety, and quality objectives.
  2. Hold overall accountability for the installation of Building Services within projects.
  3. Deliver high-quality installations that meet client expectations while maximizing profitability and managing costs.
  4. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, adhering to agreed-upon standards.
  5. Oversee staff performance by defining their roles and responsibilities on the project.
  6. Promote Health & Safety, identifying and mitigating risks.
  7. Encourage the sharing of best practices and foster a culture of innovation.
  8. Ensure a seamless final handover process.

Qualifications/Skills:

  1. HNC/HND in Building Services or a higher qualification is preferred.
  2. CSCS/IOSH/SMSTS certifications are required.
  3. Knowledge of BS wiring regulations is essential.
  4. Proven experience in a senior role on electrical projects, with a strong background in full contract management.
  5. Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  6. Ability to take on responsibilities and meet project goals within set timelines.
  7. Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  8. Understanding of health and safety regulations and ongoing risk assessment/control.
  9. Skilled in fostering and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Represent the organization professionally to ensure timely and safe project completion.
