Thread Roller Machinist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Thread Roller Machinist to join our team at SPS Technologies. As a Thread Roller Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and running Thread Roll machines, using various measuring gauges, reading and working from engineering drawings, and working to customer specifications.

About the Role

• Operate and maintain Thread Roll machines to produce high-quality threads
• Use measuring gauges, such as verniers and shadow graphs, to ensure accuracy
• Read and work from engineering drawings to produce threads to customer specifications
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment

About You

• You must be mechanically minded, with experience in mechanical fitting or assembly
• You must be able to read and work from engineering drawings
• You must be physically fit, as the role involves manual work
• You must be organized and able to work to a process, ensuring stock is moved correctly in specific batches
• You must be able to work in imperial measurements
• You must be able to quality check using a variety of tools
