About the Job
Gi Group Professionals is partnering with SPS Technologies to find a skilled Thread Roller Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. Due to the retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, the company needs additional machinists to work in the thread roll department.

Key Responsibilities
Operating and running Thread Roll machines
Using various measuring gauges - verniers, shadow graphs etc.
Reading and working from engineering drawings.
Working to customer specifications
General Housekeeping duties

Requirements
Must be mechanically minded - this may suit a mechanic / mechanical fitter or assembler.
Must be clearly conversant in English.
Physically fit as there is a lot of manual work.
Must be organised and able to work to a process and ensure stock is moved correctly in specific batches.
Able to work in imperial measurements.
Able to quality check using a variety of tools.
