Agency Chemotherapy Nurse Opportunity

Leaders in Care is seeking a skilled Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team on a temporary contract. As a Community Oncology Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their own homes, delivering a range of treatments including bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver chemotherapy treatments to patients in their own homes
  • Conduct blood tests and toxicity assessments
  • Administer IV and oral chemotherapy, as well as pump disconnections and line care
  • Provide IM/SC injections and other necessary treatments
Requirements:
  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
  • Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £43- £48 per hour (based on experience)
  • Mileage expenses
  • Monday to Friday role - approx. 8 hrs per day - working 4 or 5 days per week
  • No bank holiday working
