Job Title: Agency Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist

Job Description:

Leaders in Care is seeking a skilled Agency Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Community Oncology Nurse, you will provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes. This is a temporary contract as an agency nurse, working 4 or 5 days a week and will be ongoing for a minimum of 3 - 6 months + (flexible).

The hourly rate is £43 - £48 an hour, and you will benefit from mileage expenses and no bank holiday working. You will see patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more.

Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday role – approx. 8 hrs per day – working 4 or 5 days per week
  • No bank holiday working

Requirements:

  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy is essential
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
  • Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification
