Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA). In this role, you will provide support for programs that manage the impacts of utilities works for major capital projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience of partnership working within a multi-disciplinary organisation and collaboration with both internal and external organisations to manage major infrastructure projects. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and good analytical skills and able to review information and determine the best approach.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly impactful projects, including Metro Birmingham East side, Metro Wednesbury Brierly Hill extension and Sprint. As a Transportation Infrastructure Specialist, you will apply your technical expertise and guidance to ensure that projects are delivered successfully on time and within budget.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a Local Government Pension Scheme, 28 days paid annual leave, ethical saving options, and more. Our hybrid working model allows for flexibility between working in the office and at home on agreed days.
