Employment Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Employment Advisor to join our team at Mental Health Matters. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to achieve their employment goals.
You will work closely with NHS Talking Therapies services and the Department of Work and Pensions to provide a high-quality, one-to-one service to individuals who are struggling with employment challenges. Your expertise will help individuals to retain their jobs, navigate employer liaison, or find new employment opportunities.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have experience working with mental health and possess excellent motivational skills. You will be able to inspire and engage individuals, providing them with the support and guidance they need to overcome their challenges. A background in Advice and Guidance, Health and Social Care, or Customer Service is essential, and knowledge of employment rights and job retention is highly advantageous.
