We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector to join our team at First Tech Limited.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical quality standards are met and that company/industry quality procedures and controls are followed. This includes identifying actions and improvements as required.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with developing and updating quality control standards and procedures.
- Conduct visual final inspection of equipment in accordance with company processes and procedures, recording and signing off paperwork.
- Complete reports where deviations are found or materials are rejected that do not conform to quality or industry standards.
- Review test documents/certificates to ensure they correspond with equipment and complete final sign off prior to delivery to clients.
- Ensure equipment used in the workshop is calibrated and calibration certificates are valid.
- Produce reports of defects and issues, including making sure remedial actions/follow-ups are carried out and conducted.
- Collate and maintain all records pertaining to the quality system.
- Ensure work areas are safe to carry out activities and carry out risk assessments as required.
- Provide cover to the Despatch Team Lead as necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Ideal qualification in quality assurance/quality control.
- Experience working in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, 45001, 14001.
- Understanding of industry safety standards.
- Background in manufacturing/inspection and/or NDT work activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Organized and structured approach to work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
