Plumbing Specialist

Job Summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance, repair, alterations, and improvement work on properties owned by the council and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repair, alterations, and improvement work on properties in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement.
• Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.
• Hold a current valid driving licence.
• Provide one reference from your current or most recent employer.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and maintenance, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, and provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if applicable.
