About the Role

NUPAS Ltd is seeking a skilled Nurse or Midwife to join our team in the Northwest Region. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective care to patients seeking consultation for unplanned pregnancy, surgical and medical abortions, contraception, and sexual health services.

Main Responsibilities

You will be required to:

  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in accordance with Healthcare Commission Standards, NMC Guidelines for Professional Practice, and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide ultra sound scanning services in the first trimester.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver a confidential abortion service.
  • Be motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and empathetic in your approach to patient care.

Person Specification

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Current Nurse and or Midwifery Council NMC registration as a Registered Nurse Sub part 1 of the NMC register Registered Midwife.
  • Up to date knowledge and experience of working in a sexual health TOP or Gynaecological service.
  • Ultra sound scanning experience in the first trimester.

Desirable Qualifications

We also welcome applications from candidates who hold:

  • Faculty of Reproductive Sexual Healthcare FSRH Letter of Competence in intrauterine techniques ie IUS and or IDU fitter and Insertion and removal of Subdermal Implants.
  • Recognised qualification in Independent/Supplementary Prescribing.
