Job Title: Vision Care Assistant
About the JobWe are looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser who will discover why Specsavers pride themselves on providing the foundation for exciting, long-term careers. This role involves working with our team in Morningside, Edinburgh, where we strive to deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Main Responsibilities- Listening to patients, and giving good clear advice, explaining suitable products & offers whilst understanding NHS procedures & applying our own high standards
- Dispensing of lenses (single vision / bi-focal & varifocal)
- Carrying out pre-screening examinations & working alongside the wider team in day-to-day running of clinics
- Take measurements and support patients with collections, ensuring fit, comfort & accuracy of frames are checked thoroughly
The nationally recognised qualification equivalent to a Level 3 BTEC offered by us improves knowledge and understanding of dispensing procedures and provides a stepping stone to the roles of DO, CLO and beyond. With our competitive salary package up to £26,000 per annum making this a very attractive offer, you'll have the opportunity to take your career to the next level.
