Dermatology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Dermatology team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Internal Medicine and Dermatology, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be expected to have a high level of clinical competence and be able to provide expert opinions on a full range of dermatological problems.

• Providing clinical care to patients with a range of dermatological conditions
• Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Developing and implementing new services and initiatives to improve patient care
• Contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
• Working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care

• Full GMC registration
• MRCP or equivalent
• Higher degree e.g. MPhil, MD or PhD
• Ability to organise and manage outpatient priorities
• Ability to manage and lead a wide range of staff involved in a cohesive Dermatology service
