Dermatology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Dermatology team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Internal Medicine and Dermatology, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be expected to have a high level of clinical competence and be able to provide expert opinions on a full range of dermatological problems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-resourced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on patient care and service development. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of experienced consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Providing clinical care to patients with a range of dermatological conditions
- Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Developing and implementing new services and initiatives to improve patient care
- Contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care
- Full GMC registration
- MRCP or equivalent
- Higher degree e.g. MPhil, MD or PhD
- Ability to organise and manage outpatient priorities
- Ability to manage and lead a wide range of staff involved in a cohesive Dermatology service
