About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Bath & North East Somerset Council. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to live independently within their own homes.

The successful candidate will be well-supported by our experienced team, working under the direction of a shift leader and/or care manager. Your primary focus will be on helping Service Users work towards their outcome-focused re-ablement goals as outlined in their support/treatment plan.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, basic healthcare, and therapy to support individuals in maximizing their independence
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as mobility practice, supervising exercises, and practicing techniques to promote independence
  • Work closely with District Nursing, Social Care, and housing colleagues to deliver person-centered care
